Public Notice and Invitation

Community engagement, integrity of ethics and transparency, and meaningful partnerships with community stakeholders will be paramount to the success of this clean-up and reuse project. We have launched this website to communicate project status updates, reports, and other critical information. The first phase of this project involves gathering public feedback and input to build our EPA grant application.

Project Updates and Public Feedback

Houston Land Bank commits to publicly posting reports and drafts related to this project here.

For those who prefer physical copies, they will be available for viewing at The Flores Neighborhood Library, located at 110 N Milby St., Houston, TX 77003.

Transparency and Partnership:

HLB actively seeks stakeholder partnerships and opportunities for collaboration with community members and organizations. To ensure transparency, we will publicly post responses to questions we receive regarding the Analysis of Brownfields Cleanup (ABCA) and grant application by November 13.

To keep the public informed and maintain a strong connection with our community partners, HLB will continue to host public meetings and share milestone activities and updates throughout the duration of the land banking agreement.
